#Rebel xsi canon astrophotography software windows 10
Windows 10 (Version 1607 or later), Windows 8.1, Windows 7 SP1 Have had mine for just over 2 months and I've already shot 11,000 frames. To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements. Perhaps it's that I had trained myself over the past five years of using Canon DSLRs to constantly be aware of what ISO I was using, that I am not finding it too useful.

Oddly enough, the ISO-always-in-viewfinder, which sounded so compelling to me when it was not available, and which was actually a selling point for me, has turned out to be less critical than I had anticipated. The LP-E5 battery is a winner-superb life! Got myself a $20 Power 2000 aftermarket battery that seems to work just as well. I'm going to see if the battery grip will make it better.

I got it as a backup for my 30D, but the reality of the superb performance and 50% more megapixels at same or better IQ have found me using it more frequently than the 30D.! My main gripe is the finger grip-it's rather shallow and I find it uncomfortable in a prolonged usage in the ways that the original Digital Rebel and the 30D never do.
